Budapest, 4 July 2016 – Each year Finance Monthly, the leading global publication for the corporate sector, identifies and honours the most respected companies and their C-level executives who lead the way on a global stage. Árpád Török, Chief Executive Officer of TriGranit was chosen to the CEO of the Year 2016. The award is given on the base of a rigorous nomination, voting, research, and judging process.
“I am honoured and happy to be recognised as the CEO of the Year. For me, winning this award proves that TriGranit is on the right track to reach the main aim, to be the leading real-estate platform in the CE region” – said Árpád Török, CEO of TriGranit.
Mr Török was the initiator and a dominant player in one of the largest real estate transactions in 2015 in Central Europe – the acquisition of TriGranit by TPG Real Estate, the real estate arm of global private investment firm TPG. Mr Török has more than 20 years of successful executional and managerial track record in real estate leasing, development and transactions. As CEO of TriGranit since 2009, his leadership helped not only TriGranit but the property business community to overcome the crisis. Between 2009-2014, TriGranit succeeded to obtain over 800 million Euros in financing and refinancing to develop 850,000 m² of projects completed or currently under construction. Asset disposals in CEE with a cumulative transaction volume of EUR 650 million, both retail and offices were completed with his active participation.
