In 2026, Korzó Shopping Centre in Nyíregyháza joined the portfolio of DRFG Investment Group (EFEKTA Real Estate Fund), strengthening the company’s presence in the Hungarian retail real estate market.

Opened in 2008, Korzó is a well-established shopping centre comprising approximately net 17,640 sqm of retail and office space. The property occupies a prime location in the centre of Nyíregyháza and offers 624 parking spaces, including electric vehicle charging facilities. The centre is equipped with 10 elevators and 12 escalators, ensuring convenient access for visitors throughout the building.

The asset has benefited from continuous maintenance and capital investment since its opening. Significant repair works were completed in 2013 and 2018, including upgrades to the façade, car park ramp and waterproofing system, helping to preserve the building’s technical condition and long-term performance.

Korzó currently enjoys a strong occupancy rate of approximately 95%, supported by a diverse tenant mix and a solid roster of anchor tenants, including Spar, Expert, Sinsay, New Yorker, Deichmann, Libri, dm and Sports Direct. These retailers contribute to the centre’s position as one of the leading shopping destinations in the region.

Looking ahead, DRFG, in cooperation with TriGranit, is planning a comprehensive programme of technical and energy-efficiency improvements. The planned investments are intended to enhance the property’s operational performance, sustainability profile and customer experience, while supporting the long-term value creation strategy for the asset.
