Török Árpád, CEO of TriGranit chosen to the Real-estate Market Personality of the Year by iroda.hu
The Office of the Year competition and Awards Ceremony hosted by iroda.hu is organised since 2010 and for today it became the most recognized award of the Hungarian office market. At the Awards Ceremony on the 11th February, Árpád Török, the CEO of TriGranit was chosen to the Real-estate Market Personality of the Year. The award is given on the base of detailed ratings of experienced real-estate professionals and a professional jury. The Award Ceremony this year took place in the Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest, Hungary with the participation of nearly 300 prominent real-estate personalities.
„The prestigious award was a surprise to me, however it’s a fact, that 2015 was a really intensive, hard and accordingly a very successful year both for me and the whole TriGranit. With the sale of TriGranit to TPG Real Estate, we have a successful transaction behind us, that has a huge impact on the regional real estate market and that requested huge effort from the shareholders and the whole TriGranit team also – said Árpád Török, CEO of TriGranit.
In 2015, TriGranit had an active year in the field of developments, property management and leasing activities. The company completed the construction of Building E and F (20 000 sqm GLA) of the most popular office complexes in Krakow, the B4B, Building G is already under construction. Furthermore, they gained refinancing in a value of 200 million euros and the volume of TriGranit’s letting activity in its portfolio exceeded in the region 60.000 sqm GLA. TriGranit has been awarded 2 prestigious awards in 2015 – the Property Company of the Year – Europe, and the Outstanding Contribution – Europe Award in their respective categories of the World Finance Award.
“Overall, the greatest recognition and success would be, if I could say thank you for this Award again in some years, as we have reached our aim with TriGranit, namely becoming the leading real-estate platform in the CE region” – added Mr. Török.
Mr Török has been active for more than 20 years in the international real-estate development and consultancy sector, being the CEO of TriGranit since 2009. He was the initiator and the main coordinator of the largest real estate transactions in 2015 in Central Europe – the acquisition of TriGranit by TPG Real Estate. During the over one year transaction process he also restructured the company. The main aim of the TriGranit backed with the new owner since December 2015 is to be the leading real-estate platforms in Central Europe.
