Török Árpád, CEO of TriGranit was named 2016 CEO of the year by Finance Monthly
Budapest, 4 July 2016 – Each year Finance Monthly, the leading global publication for the corporate sector, identifies and honours the most respected companies and their C-level executives who lead the way on a global stage. Árpád Török, Chief Executive Officer of TriGranit was chosen to the CEO of the Year 2016. The award is given on the base of a rigorous nomination, voting, research, and judging process.

Mr Török was the initiator and a dominant player in one of the largest real estate transactions in 2015 in Central Europe – the acquisition of TriGranit by TPG Real Estate, the real estate arm of global private investment firm TPG. Mr Török coordinated the over one year transaction process that involved retail and office assets in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Croatia with 250 000 sqm GLA and additional development plots in a value of over 600 million euros and also restructured the company.
Mr Török has more than 20 years of successful executional and managerial track record in real estate leasing, development and transactions. As CEO of TriGranit since 2009, his leadership helped not only TriGranit but the property business community to overcome the crisis. Between 2009-2014, TriGranit succeeded to obtain over 800 million Euros in financing and refinancing to develop 850,000 m² of projects completed or currently under construction. Asset disposals in CEE with a cumulative transaction volume of EUR 650 million, both retail and offices were completed with his active participation.
