The CEE Investment and Green Building Awards have been running since 2009, dedicated to evolving investment and sustainable development opportunities that are presenting themselves to the market in the region. The judging panel, comprised by international market professionals, examined overall performance of the companies during the past year as well as highlight investment transactions that have produced consistent results.

“We are honoured and happy that our transaction has won the Investment Deal of the Year Award. We have two successful transactions behind us this year, each has a massive impact on the regional real estate market and that requested immense effort from the shareholder and the entire TriGranit team jointly.  Bonarka City Center’s successful development, property management and sale together demonstrates how TriGranit creates value on the CE market.” – said Árpád Török, CEO of TriGranit.

In 2016, TriGranit had an active year in the field of developments and property management. Building F, the sixth building in the office complex in Krakow was opened this September and Building G will be ready at the beginning of 2017. In September, the company successfully completed the sale of Bonarka City Center with the total area of 92,300 sqm, which was the largest single asset transaction in 2016 in Poland. Just weeks after closing the Bonarka deal, TriGranit had a similar market-defining transaction in Hungary, by selling the Millennium Towers, a 70,400 m2 Class A office complex, for EUR 175 million. This transaction was the largest ever office deal on the Hungarian market, by both value and gross leasable area. Furthermore, as acknowledgment of the company’s outstanding results in 2016, the market honoured the company with further awards in 2016. Mr. Török was chosen to the Most Inspiring Real Estate CEO by Global Brands Magazine and also was named CEO of the year by Finance Monthly Magazine and the company was acknowledged with the prestigious World Finance Real Estate Award already for the third consecutive year.
