Millennium Gardens operates on 100% green electricity from 2026
Millennium Gardens office building has taken another significant step towards achieving its sustainability goals: from 1 January 2026, the building’s electricity consumption is fully covered by electricity generated from renewable energy sources, commonly referred to as green electricity.
Under an agreement between Duna Kongresszus Kft. (a subsidiary of Revetas Capital, the owner of Millennium Gardens) and CYEB Energiakereskedő Kft., Millennium Gardens will use electricity with a 100% renewable energy content up to its annual contracted electricity volume during the period from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026. The supply is provided through the ZÖLD 100 product, which consists entirely of electricity sourced from renewable energy.
The use of green electricity contributes to reducing carbon emissions, lowering the building’s environmental footprint, and supporting Hungary’s commitment to increasing the share of renewable energy sources in its energy mix.
The renewable origin of the electricity consumption will be verified through Guarantees of Origin certificates, which will be issued after 31 March of the year following the consumption period.
